Geoff Ward- Principal: Safety Leadership and Change
Geoff joined changedrivers in January 2007, following 30 years as a senior manager in a range of industry sectors. He has established and is the leader of the Safety Leadership and Change Practice.
Geoff has managed a number of different types of manufacturing operations, from high volume assembly line manufacturing through to heavy engineering continuous operations.
He applies the practical and proven methods he developed in these diverse operations to systematically identify areas of safety risk and provide pragmatic solutions that can significantly reduce the opportunity for injury.
He works from a base of engagement around a shared vision and consistency of aim. With a belief that progress and sustainable improvements can only be made through a shared understanding and consultative approach with the entire workforce.

- Sydney Ferries Corporation - worked with the CEO and his Executive team to develop the strategic roadmap that identified the areas of opportunity for performance improvement.

- Adelaide Brighton Ltd - implemented a cultural change program of safety management that resulted in 4 years of injury free performance through behavioural change and process conformance.
- Michel Wool - as an accredited deliverer of Steven Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People educated and facilitated the leadership team to think and manage differently.
- Adelaide Brighton Ltd - implemented 6 sigma thinking and Deming principles which resulted in significant bottom line benefits through processes standardisation and behavioural change.

Developing organisational capabilities |
- NSW RailCorp - reviewed the Network Rules and Procedures that ensure track workers safety. Working alongside front line track maintenance teams, procedures and safety control methods were critically reviewed and tested at various rail sites.
- Sydney Ferries Corporation - worked with the CEO and his Executive team, to implement their Workplace Reform program initiatives.
- Defence Business Training Centre - the development of the Integrated Business Framework, an authoritative source of information for DBTC personnel about the processes, procedures and policies of their organisation.
